About the winery

Classified as a 4th growth in 1855, Chateau Branaire-Ducru is situated in Saint-Julien appellation of the Medoc region in Bordeaux. 

Defined by finesse, elegance and drinkability, Francois-Xavier Maroteaux (owner) and Jean-Dominique Videau (director and Winemaker) made their wines in such a way to bring out the purity of the fruit, the specific style that comes from the terroir with as much freshness as possible.
