Christmas wit= h its full unbridled sense of loving, giving, thinking of others, spending, and inevitably of rampant commercialism is here again. Hurrah! Can the cynicism, postpone all thoughts of a healthy lifestyle. It’s time to PARTY!

We have gift baskets, hampers, wine boxes, and all sorts of Xmas goodies to take home to= make your Christmas more delicious and more delightful. Some examples follow, but we’ll gladly customize to suit you, or for your corporate gifts. - buy any 11 bottles of any wines and you can choose a 12^th at the average price of your 11 for free. Free delivery of course.

For example – a case of Lindauer Brut at $29.90 a bottle comes in at $322.90 for the discounted price – that’s just $26.90 on average.

The Hats Off = Column

This month we doff our cap in deference to Villa Maria for its trophies at the A= ir New Zealand Wine Awards. In addition to 18 gold medals VM took the following trophies;

- Villa Maria Private Bin Marlborough Dry Riesling 2010 - Champion Open White Wine & Champion Riesling

We are curren= tly on the 08 vintage but will be offering the 2010 next year. Riesling is a lovely drink in this climate and a refreshing change from your favourite Sauvignon Blanc

-- Villa Maria Single Vineyard Keltern Hawkes Bay Chardonnay 2007 - Champion Exhibition Wh= ite

We don’= t have this vintage but do have around a few bottles left of the 05 – which = took an array of medals. This could be a great wine to choose for Christmas.
